Objective: Research in the effect of component (tea polyphenols, TP) of greentea on the blood pressure, blood-fat, blood sugar and the lever of the insulin ofinsulin resistance syndrome (IRS) and its function mechanism.Method: The health mice were random separated as: normal group, modelgroup, TP group, low dosage group and captopril group. The normal groupswere feed basic mash, drunk clean tap water, the other groups were feed highsugar content, high salt content and high fat content for six weeks, and copy theIRS animal model. After establishing the model, both of nomal group and modelgroup were affused distilled water, the other groups were affused correspond todrug every day during six weeks. Determined their limosis blood sugar, insulin,Renin, Ang II, TNF-α, blood pressure, blood-fat, NO, NOS, MDA and SOD et al.index.Results: The insulin concentration, blood pressure and blood-fat concentrationare increase sharply. (1) The effect of empty blood sugar in TP group is not obvious.High dosage of TP group and captopri group can decrease the insulin concentrationin blood and increase sensitivity index of insulin. All of the TP groups and captoprigroups can improve the concentration of the glucose (P<0.01). (2) TP groups andcaptopri groups all can depress the blood pressure. TP groups can reduce the lever ofthe Renin. High dosage TP and captopri groups can play down the lever of the AngII.(3) TP groups and captopri groups can play down the TC, TG and LDL lever of themice, but have little effect on the lever of HDL. High dosage TP and normal dosageTP groups and captopri group can play down the lever of TNF-α. (4) High dosageTP groups can inhibit the activity of NOS and iNOS and play down ND lever.Normal dosage TP groups can obviously inhibit the NOS activity. (5) PretreatedTP groups and captopri groups can enhance the activity of SOD and reduce theforming of MDA. (6) P<0. 05.P<0. 01.Conclusions: TP groups can reduce the insulin concentration, improve thegrucose endurance, increase the sensitivity index of insulin, play down the lever ofMDA, NO, NOS , TNF-α, Renin and AngII, depress the blood pressure, intercedeblood-fat. It mechanism maybe through enhance the activity of SOD, accelerate theclearance of the peroxide material of fat, intercede the blood sugar and blood-fatmetabolism, and improve the glucose endurance, increase the sensitivity index ofinsulin. So it can play down the lever of Renin and AngII.
