The Values Of Sonography And Ultrasound Contrast In The Breast Tumor

Objective: Part 1: To evaluate the values of high frequency,power doppler and spectral doppler sonography for differentiating breast tumors.Contrast the pathologies after operations.Part 2: We try to study the pattern of contrast ultrasound in diagnosing breast lesions,and all cases are coniirmed at surgical biopsies.The holp is provide more valuable information in diagnosing of breast cancer.Methods: Part 1:70 patients are examined by high frequency,power doppler and spectral doppler sonography and it was suspected tumors in the breasts.We analyse their grey scale , power Doppler images and spectral doppler then make the diagnosis.After operations we get pathologies of all cases then to evaluate the value of sonography in differentiating breast tumors.Part 2:We make the contrast enhanced ultrasonographies in 25 tumors(24 cases) and they are suspicious after the common ultrasound examinations. US studies are performed with ESAOTE Technos MPX, equipped with a software for online image storage,analysis and automatic quantification of US signal intensity changes after contrast agent injection, namely wash-in and wash-out contrast enhancement curves.The purpose of our research is to study the patterns of grey-harmonious contrast ultrasound and Time-Strength curve.They are all confirmed by the surgical biopsies.Results: Part 1: Pathology: 30 are benign lesions, 42 are carcinomas; The consistency of sonography for breast tumors are 94.4% in this study.Part 2: Pathology: 10 are benign lesions, 15 are carcinomas; The patterns of benign lesions and carcinomas are different. The carcinomas are filled quickly and cleared up quickly,then the benign lesions are filled slowly and cleared up slowly. The intensity of carcinomas are higher than the benign lesions.Morphology of time-strength curve of breast cancer is:(1)up quickly,down slowly and single shape;(2) up quickly,down slowly and multiple of shape.
