Uveitis, should pertain in traditional Chinese medicine to "Tongshen Jinxiao" (stenocoriasis) or to "Tongshen Ganque" (miosis), generally denotes inflammation of the choroid, ciliary body, or iris. It is caused by various pathogenic factors, pathogenic mechanism has not been totally clear yet, it is comparatively thorny to treat, often affected repeatedly, cause to various complication, and leading to blindness. The physique theory of traditional Chinese medicine, as the new growing point of the research of the theory of TCM, with macroscopic combining with microcosmic, theory and clinical combining together, tradition and modern method combining together, has a broad prospect in clinical practice. This research based on the physique theory of traditional Chinese medicine, with investigating the physique characteristic and clinical manifestation of the chronic uveitis patients in south china, and discussed the physique characteristic of chronic uveitis and its relationship with clinical manifestation. The research has important guidance function to the diagnosis, pathogenesis and treatment of chronic uveitis.Literature review:Through the summarize of the current researching of chronic uveitis and physique theory of traditional Chinese medicine, consider the physique theory of traditional Chinese medicine offering important theoretical guidance and research technique to the diagnosis, pathogeny, pathogenesis and treatment of chronic uveitis. Clinical study:Purpose: Investigate the characteristic of patient' s physique of chronic uveitis in south china through counting, discuss physique characteristic of the chronic uveitis and its relationship with recurring , clinical characteristic and prognosis of the chronic uveitis.
