Objective: to explore the mechanisms of bFGF prevent nephrotoxity mediated by genamicin in vitro on the primary cultivated renal tubular epithelial cell from kunming mouse. Methods: when the renal tubular epithelial cell was optimal after 4 days cultivating in vitro,we divided them into below groups: 1.control(cultivated regulary); 2.Genamincin(GM),the level designed for assay were high, medium and low. 10μl per well, 30μl per well, 50μl per well respectively; 3.Basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF),three levels were 20μl,50μl,80μl in each well;4.(GM+BFGF) is 9 dosage-groups based on factorial experimental design.all groups were available after treatment 24 hours.Detecting indexes including light microscope, cell counting kit 8.Result: 1. bFGF can protect the cells that injuryed by GM of low and medium concentration,bFGF of 80μl per well works best. 2. the cells treated by (GM+BFGF) is better than that treated by GM only. The more bFGF,the better cells is.Conclusion: bFGF has protective effect on the primary cultivated renal tubular epithelial cell toxicity induced by gentamicin. The effect depend on concentration of bFGF.
