objective:To study the role of bFGF in the culture of renal tubular epithelial cell injury of rats.Method:After renal cortexes were Grinded and digested with 0.25%tryspase.The cell types of epithelial cell were identified by immunocytochemistry. The injury model of rats, renal tubular epithelial cells were established by using gentamicin. And observed the role of bFGF in renal tubular epithelial cell.Result: By Observing the morphology of the cells and identifying the cells with Cytokeratin 18 by the immunocytochemistry, among GM group and control group, the CAT , Na+-K+-ATP enzyme activity are decreasing, and NAG activity and MDA are increasing(P<0.01) ,indicating that culture of renal tubular epithelial cell and the injurial model are succeed . The differences of the content of biochemistry and enzymology between GM group and bFGF+GM group are significant (P<0.01),however the differences of the CAT activity, Na+-K+-ATP enzyme activity and NAG activity between the bFGF+GM group and control group are nonsignificant (P>0.05) , but MDA is significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: bFGF could protect the injury renal tubular epithelial cell.
