Objective:To investigate the expression of p73, p53, p21WAF in colorectal carcinoma, the possible correlation in three proteins and apoptosis, and their role in Colorectal carcinoma .Methods:Expression of p73, p53 , p21WAF protein in Colorectal carcinoma was examined by immunohistochemistry methods(S-P). Similarly, apoptosis in colorectal carcinoma was exmamined by TUNEL technique. The result of the examinamtion was statistically analyzed.Results:1. Expression of p73 in Colorectal carcinoma was 58.3%(28/48), heigher than in Colorectal tubular&villous adenoma, Edge of colorectal tissue. There were very significant differences in histodifferentiation , Dukes stage of Colorectal carcinoma, lymphatic metastasis.2.The expression grade of p73 was positively correlated with the expression grade of p53 protein, and it was unrelated with the expression grade of p21WAF protein . The expression grade of p53 was negatively correlated with the expression grade of p21WAF protein .3. Expression of p53 in Colorectal carcinoma was 47.9%, that of p21WAF was 93.8%.4. The apoptosis indexes(AI) in Colorectal carcinoma was 10.27±1.23‰,...
