Objective: To study the clinical features, pathogenesy andtherapy of hepatogenic diabetes and differential diaognosis withprimary diabetes, improve diagnosis-and-treatment level. Methods:The clinical data of 125 hepatogenic diabetes cases werretrospectively analyzed. Results: The main clinical manifestation ofhepatogenic diabetes is hepatopathy, and typical diabetic clinicalsymptoms is scarce, 33 hepatopathy patients were found havediabetes at the same time, 36 were found have it one day in hospital,show hepatogenic diabetes, especially the blood lucose 2h after mesl.On the bases of integrated treatment, controlling diet solely andprotecting liver function, 17 blood sugar is restore, 7 take somedrugs, others give insulin. Conclusions: The main clinicalmanifestation of hepatogenic diabetes is hepatopathy, and it'sdiabetic clinical symptoms is not typical, higher blood glucose aftermeal is the main festure of hepatogenic diabetes and insulinresistance (IR) and damnification of liver-cell is basic-pathogeny;themain therapy is primary hepatopathy, while assistant treatment isinsulin;diabetes would recovery along with the hepatopathy isimproved.
