The technique of intense pulsed light is a new concept,it's putforword by Dr Patrick in California in 1995.It has revelated abrand-new field in treatment of pigment of skin and fatialphotoaging.Intense pulsed light is a source of lamp of highstrength,multichannel spectral.It can cure different kind of damageof skin.It can cure and ameliorate physiological aging phenomenathat Include pigmentation,pore crassitude,wrinkle,denaturalizationof elasticity occuring at the same time.The objective of this studies is that to explore the clinicalefficacy of photorejuvenation in the treatment of facialtelangiectasias by intense pulsed light.Methods A total of 52 patients(age ranged from 17-54years)who suffered from telangiectasias were cured by IPL-Queen .thecauses of telangiectasias include that the use of estrogenic;the use ofcosmetic inappositely and so on.all the cases were divied into threeclinical groups:mild,intermediate and severe.3 times of treatment atinterval of 3-4weeks.energy density was 26-34J/cm,double-pulsedtechnology (combined long-short pulses,1st pulse2.6-5.0ms,2nd pulse3.2—6.0ms),delay time 20-50ms .after the treatment of 3 times,theresults obtained from the patients before and after treatment werecomparatively analysied to evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect.Results The studies showed that 28.8% patients werecured,42.3% patients with significant improvement,21.1% patientswith improvement,7.6% patients no effect .total effective 71.1%.Conclusions The technique of intense pulse light is aunexfoliative measure. Intense pulsed light is an excellen treatmentfor face telangiectasias which is the different reasons of .the patientsdid not need much time to rest when finished the every curing time.
