Objective:To explore the feasibility, the superiority and RadicalPrinciple of laparoscopy-assisted surgery for digestive malignant tumor. Methods:From Apr. 2004 to Mar. 2006,12 patients with enteronmalignant tumor underwent laparoscopy-assisted surgery and 15patients underwent open surgery the clinical data were reviewed andanalyzed,we explored the feasibility, the superiority and the RadicalPrinciple for the two groups of pations undergoing eitherlaparoscopy-assisted or open surgery for malignant –tumor. Results:All cases were successfully performed. In thelaparoscopy-assisted group, no one was converted to open procedure ordied . No complication dues to the operation. time to resume earlyactivity( 2.36±0.8)and hospitol stay(7.75±2.4), Bleeding loss duringthe operation(131.6±62)ml, out of bed time (2.0±1.2),The length ofspecimen(22.3±3.2)cm, total amount of the lymph nodes(10.5±1.3);in the open group, time to resume early activity(4.1±1.2)and hospitolstay(13.8±2.2), Bleeding loss during the operation(267.3±96)ml, outof bed time (2.8±1.6), The length of specimen(23.5±4.5)cm, totalamount of the lymph nodes(10.2±1.8).in a word, complications, shortterm survival rate, local relapse , distant metastasis were comparable inthe two groups (p>0.05);Bleeding loss, hospitol stay, out of bed time, time to resume were significantly shorter than those in the opengroup(p<0.05).Conclusion:These results suggest that aparoscopy-assisted surgeryfor digestive malignant tumor can be performed safe, feasible, superiorand applying with radical principle.
