By investigating the morphological and functional changes of renal tubule epithelium cells, analyzing the quantity of maleic dialdehyde (MDA) , the enzyme activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and Na~+-K~+-ATPase in renal medulla, and assessing the renal tubule epithelium cells apoptosis and apoptosis related changes of Fas, Bcl-2, and NF-κB protein expression ,we conclude that acute renal tubule epithelium cells injury happened in rats after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) . OFR-triggered lipid peroxidation, cellular energy metabolism disturbance and apoptosis may be principal manifestation of renal tubule epithelium cells injury in post-resuscitation rats. The results of this study demonstrate that Fas, Bcl-2 and NF- κB expression- induced by CPR seem to be responsible for the kidney apoptosis. renal tubule epithelium cells injury could also be a important factor of acute renal failure ,which is associated with prognosis after CPR. Biocoen has the function of ameliorating the cellular energy metabolism, clearing the free radicals, down regulating the expression of Fas ,thus alleviating the renal tubule epithelium cells injury due to ischemia- reperfusion(I/R). So it plays an important role in the protection of thekindey tissue after CPR.
