A Survey And Analysis Of Patients' Satisfaction With Complete Denture

Objective: The study is to examine the main aspects of patient satisfaction and explore the factors found to be associated with dissatisfaction.Materials and Methods: A total of 98 CD wearers, altogether 175 dentures were investigated by questionnaire. Satisfaction and factors were tested statistically to determine their relationship.Results: A majority of the patients were satisfied with the prosthesis, but a substantial amount of dissatisfaction existed. Patients with mandibular denture expressed more dissatisfaction than those with maxillary dentures, and patients with acrylic resin denture were more satisfied than those with metal dentures.Conclusion: Most people were satisfied with CD. Pain, lower chewing ability and lower stability etc are related to general dissatisfaction.
