Objective: To investigate the relationship between pulse pressure (pp) and severity of coronary artery stenosisMethods: two hundred and seventy-nine patients were enrolled ,all the patients underwent coronary angiography and their systolic blood pressure (SBP ) diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and PP were measured Subsequently the relationship between PP and severity of coronary artery stenosis was determined.Result: The coronary artery stenosis of the group of PP≥60mmHg was higher than that of the normal group, PP levels were significantly higher in patients with coronary artery disease than that in the normal subjects, Banery regression analysis indicated that PP was an independent risk factor for the severity of coronary artery stenosis. Conclusion: PP might be one of the predictors of severity of CAD.
