object: To investigate the correlation factor of diabetic nephro-pathy(DN) in type 2 diabetes. methods: Collecting, age, sex, stock, occupation, level, of culture, BMI, family history of diabetes, course of disease, history of hypertention, course of hypertention, SBP and DP on admission, LDL-C, HDL-C, TG, TC, ApoAI, ApoB, Apoa, FIB, HbAlc, FPG, 2hPG, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic gangrene, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, scleratheroma of arteria cervicalis and Artery of lower extremity, using date from a image retrospective study involving 763 patients from Department of endocrinology in First teaching hospital, Xinjiang Medical University, during 2003 to 2004, the date were studied with binary logistic regression, find the relative factors of diabetic nephropathy. Result: Course of disease and HbAlc are risk factors, HDL-C and ApoAI are protective factors. The diabetic retinopathy and diabetic peripheral neuropathy are positive correlation to DN. Conclusion: Course of disease and HbAlc are risk factors, HDL-C and ApoAI are protective factors for DN. Diabetic retinopathy and diabetic peripheral neuropathy are direct relative to diabetic nephropathy.
