Objective through anatomizing the structures of the cerebellopontine anglezone by the neuroendoscope and observing the endoscopic anatomicalvariations of cerebellopontine angle lesions. supply the anatomicalbasis for microneurosurgery and removing the lesions of this zone. Methods on 8 specimens of formalin-fixed adult corpse-capita and 4specimens of fresh adult corpse-capita. Alternatively applying theoperative microscope and neuroendoscope. Under simulatingconditions perform the anatomical study on the cerebellopntine anglezone by neuroendoscope, and apply the results on clinics. 15 cases of acoustic neuromas, 1 case of cholesterotoma, 2casesof trigeminal neuralgia operated using microsurgery were analyzedretrospectively, to define the blood supply of tumors, the topographicrelationship between tumors and peripheral vital neurovascularstructures as well as observe nerve-vessel contacts. Results There are straight and side observational views on the 30°objectlen, utilizing it those perdue corners in cerebellopontine angle can beobserved. The 70°object len is fit for observing the approach of theVII-VIII cranial nerves beam and the relationship with adjacentneurovascular structures in interal auditory canal. Clearly showing theV-XI cranial nerves and the blood vessels passing nearby. During thecourse of operating, neuroendoscope observe the pathologicalanatomical sign and its relationship with adjacent neurovascularstructures.ConclusionEndoscope can be used to inspect hidden but important anatomicstructures in the cerebellopontine angle zone. This study supply theanatomical basis for microneurosurgery, also demonstrate that a goodunderstanding of pathological microanatomy of tumor, as well as itsrelationship with adjacent neurovascular structures. The neuroendscope will make up for the deficiencies of themicroscope and be of important assistance to the microsurgicaloperating.
