A Clinical Research About The Influence Of Atorvastatin On Endothelial Function Of Chronic Heart Failure Patients

Nowadays, following the applications and researchs of statins onclinical, we found that statins have other uses except regulating theserum lipoprotein, also have the function of improving the endothelialfunction. Heart failure is the final result of all kinds of heart disease,the cause of which is very complex. Some researchs found that theendothelial dysfunction plays an important role in heart failure, maybeone of the reasons which cause the heart function deteriorate. Butwhether the statins can improve the endothelial function of heartfailure patients is still unknown. We carry on the the research toinquire into the influence of statins on endothelial function of heartfailure patients and provide suggestion to clinical. Obstructive: To inquire into the influence of statins onendothelial function of heart failure patients and provide suggestion toclinical. Materials and methods: 40 patients with heart failure wereinvolved in the research, and devided into two groups (treatmentgroup and compare group). Then scan their endothelial functionadopting E-tracking method.20 normal people were involved in theresearch at the same timeas normal comparation. Results: In treatment group, 19 patients'endothelial function ofarteria Carotis have improved. 17 patients'endothelial function ofarteria Brachialis have improved. In compare group, 3patients'endothelial function of arteria Carotis have improved.2patients'endothelial function of arteria Brachialis have improved.Conclusion: 1. There is a significant difference between heartfailure patients and normal people in vessal endothelial function.2. There is a significant difference between treatment group andcompare group in improvement of endothelial function. The statinscan improve the endothelial function of heart failure patient.
