| Background Heart failure is a problem in cardiology therapy .Patients with heart failure can lose the ability to work ,it with high mortality, the study of cardiac function has become a hot spot of echocardiography in medicine in recent years, Correct evaluation of cardiac function in patients with heart failure is very significant to diagnosis, evaluation of clinical treatment and prognosis. speckle tracking imaging (STI)is a newly developed quantitative technology in Echocardiography, the technology is use speckle tracking principle, Mainly through tracking the speckles in high frame rate two-dimensional image, to calculation and description the velocity and strain of myocardial, to reflect the state of myocardial function. This technology is angle-independent, repeatability, and it can quantitative global and regional myocardial wall strain of left ventricle.Objection To investigate the value of speckle tracking imaging (STI) in quantifying global and regional myocardial strain in patients with heart failure and normal person, and to explore the different ejection fraction group in patients with heart failure the changes of myocardial strain. Methodsâ‘ sixty subjects were divided into three groups. Group A consisted of thirty normal subjects, and group B included 17 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy, Patients in group C were 13 patients with anterior myocardial infarction. High frame rate two-dimensional images were recorded from the apical four-chamber view ,Two-chamber view and long-axis view of the left ventricle. Eighteen segment of LV longitudinal peak systolic strain and global peak systolic strain of each view were measured by automated functional imaging(AFI) software of 2D-SE.The correlations between LVEF and GLS-Avg were analyzed.â‘¡Patients in group B and C were divided into three subgroups according to LVEF,the three subgroups consisted of mild(6), moderate(18) and severe(6) HF patients. Compare the three subgroups'GLS-Avg.â‘¢10 cases were randomly taken from the normal group,The same observer at different times and two observers respectively measure the strain of left ventricular and analysis of its relevance. Results Left ventricular two-dimensional longitudinal strain gradually increased from the base to apex in group A.All parameters were significantly higher in the control group than those in the heart failure group;GLS-Avg in mild, moderate and severe HF patients increased gradually. The GLS-Avg correlated significantly with LVEF, The same observer at different times and two observers'Left ventricular strain measurements has a good correlation .Conclusions STI is a rapid and precise ,angle-independent tool to assess the global and regional myocardial strain of heart failure patient and normal person,... |
