ObjectiveExcimer laser in situ keratomileusis( LASIK) is a way of operation for ametropic in clinic rencent years,it is accepted to ametropic patients wildly because of short operation time,better visual acuity and less postoperative complication, but with more and more clinical observations, we find that some patients get normal visual acuity after LASIK operation, but they complain the worse visual quality or uncomfortable sense,so there are so many people to study it and have so many explainations about it,such as worse make of corneal flap,the decrease of contrast sensitivity , the abnormality of tear - film and the change of wavefront aberration, but there are more and more people to pay attention to whether the change of ocular dominance and its visual acuity have effect on euphoropsia after LASIK operation,as there are so few report about it,my study want to study the distribution of ocular dominance to myopia patients and change of ocular dominance to investigate the effect of change of ocular dominance's visual acuity on the euphoropsia after LASIK operation.Object and Method1. Object;118 myopic patients (236 eyes) who underwent myopic LASIK were included in this study. The age of patients was (18 -42) years , 44 patients were male and 74 patients were female, the pre - operative right spherical equivalent(SE) was ( - 1.00 ~12.75)D,the average diopter( -5.42 ±2.37) D;left spherical equivalent(SE) was (-0.50 ~ 13.00) D, the average diopter ( -5.33 ±2.27)D. the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) was more than 0.8. The myopes were divided into 2 groups according to pre -operative SE;medium and low myopes ^ -6. 00D(70 casel40 eyes) and high myopes > -6. 00D (48 case 96 eyes).2. Method(1) Conventional computer optometry^non - contact intra - ocular pessure^ corneal topography^naked visual acuity and corneal thickness;( 2 ) The examination of ocular dominance with the card — hole method ( 20 xl3cm with 3cm diameter hole in the middle);the patient sit up straight and look at something in distant place, raise the card and focus something through the hole, move the card toward the face slowly , this is the ocular dominance that the hole cover the eye when the card tough the face. Everyone has 3 chances to do it.3. The operation methodNmedication and check after operation;(1 ) We make corneal flap with Moria2 corneal layer knife and laser artherectomy with Visx Star S2;( 2 ) Conventional medication after operation( 3 ) All patients receive check of the ocular dominance and its visual activity after operation 2week^4week%2month and 3month.(4) Distand and near complaint investigation questionnaire: Group 1;the binoculus visual activity is the same in pre - operation and the visual activity of ocular dominance is better than the other eye after operation;Group 2;the binoculus visual activity is the same in pre - operation and the visual activity of non - ocular dominance is better than the other eye after operation;Group 3: the visual activity of ocular dominance is better than the other eye in pre - operation and the visual activity of non - ocular dominance is better than the other eye after operation. Group 4;the visual activity of ocular dominance is better than the other eye in pre - operation and after operation. These 4 groups accept investigation of questionaires, the questionaire count scores according to complaint frequency , " often " is 3 score;" sometims " is 2 score;" now and then " is 1 score;" nothing" is 0 score.Results1. There are 83 cases with right ocular dominance in all 118 cases,occupying 70. 3%;There are 35 cases with left ocular dominance in all 118 cases,occupying 29. 7%;there is no correlation between ocular dominance and gender (x2=2.715,p=0.14).2. There is worse consistency between ocular dominance and the best uncor-rected visual activity ( BUCVA ) eye in 67 myopic patients( n =67 , kappa {|[ =0. 148,p =0. 140) ,the coincidence rate is 55. 22%.3. There is worse consistency between ocular dominance and the highest diopter eye in 109 myopic patients ( n = 109, kappa {M. = - 0. 16, p = 0. 07) , the coincidence rate is 42. 20% .4. There aren' t any change of ocular dominance in all 118 cases after operation 2weekN4week^2month and 3month.5. The effect of change of ocular dominance' s visual activity on euphoropsia after LASIK operation 2months: there is no significant correlation between Group 1 and Group 2 for 2 kinds of questionaires(t} =0. 139,p, =0. 891;t2 =0.770, p2 = 0.447 ) there is no significant correlation between Group 3 and Group 4 for 2 kinds of questionaires(t3 =0. 139,p3 =0.891;t4 =0. 770,p4 =0.447).Conclusion1. There are more right ocular dominance in myopic people and this distribution has no significant correlation between ocular dominance and genderN BUCVA eye and the highest diopter eye;2. There aren' t any change of ocular dominance after LASIK operation;3. Change of ocular dominance' s visual activity has little effect on the euphoropsia.
