Objective: We investigate the mechanism of anti-Artherosclerosis through observing the effect on the ET, Ang â…¡, ACE, NO in peripheral blood and the change of proportion of plaque. Methods: animal model was divided control group, model group, operation control group and other three taurine intervention groups. The concentration of blood fat, NO, ET, Ang â…¡, activity of ACE , the area propotion of plaque and the extent of intimal intimal thickening in aorta and the extent of smooth muscel cell were detected after 90 days. Results: The concentration of NO increases but the ET, Ang â…¡, activity of ACE and the area propotion of plaque decreases and reduce the extent of intimal thickening after cured by tautine. The value of PI was lower than model grouopafter cured by tautine. Conclusion: The tautine can change the shape of artery endomembrane through increase NO and decrease ET, Ang â…¡, activity of ACE, and suppress the proliferation of smooth muscel cells through cell cycle blockage.
