The Effects Of Electroacupuncture On The Microcirculation And EcNOS,P-GP In Focal Cerebral Ischemia Rats

To investigate the mechanism of acupuncture on cerebral ischemic diseases, we studied the microcirculatory blood flow and the necrosis, apoptosis, repair and regeneration of neuron in the hippocampal CA1 region in normal and focal cerebral ischemia rats after electroacupuncture on Quchi (LI11), Zusanli(ST36). Also we investigated the effects of acupuncture on the blood SOD,MDA,GSH-PX,NO,ET and the expression of ecNOS,P-GP mRNA at microvascular endothelia cell in cerebral focal ischemic rats caused by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). The results indicate the microcirculatory blood flow was decreased after electroacupuncture on Quchi, Zusanli in normal and MCAO rats. Acupuncture on Quchi, Zusanli can promote the recovery of neuropathic signs,the recovery of NO in blood,the expression of ecNOS,can decrease the number of microvessels and death rate of neuron and MDA in blood after MCAO.
