ObjectiveTGF-β1 is important cytokine in forming liver fibrosis. Various cell in body (iymphocyte, platelet, macrophage, for example and so on) can all produce TGF-β1. In forming liver fibrosis, TGF-β1 play a leading role for adjusting ECM. That plasma TGF-β1 are detected is now studied less in worth of liver disease at home and abroad, and there are different appraisa for this. Objective for the study is that plasma levels (S0 -S4) of TGF-β1 and collagen content of the patients with chronic hepatitis in various stage are observed. Understand their relationship between TGF-β1 and levels of liver fibrosis.Methods1. Selecting of the CaseI Selected 85 patients with chronic hepatitis that they were in hospital from June, 2004 to March,2005. liver puncture was all performed for they. Sixteen health person were also selected as normal group.2. Detecting TGF-β1Blood was drew before liver puncture is perfoymed and the plasma was separated, TGF-β1 levels of plasma was detected by ELISA.3. Histopathological AnalysisPreparation of liver puncture were cut into the section. It was dyed withHE, Masson s Trichrome Method and sliver staining. Observe inflammation of liver tissiue and degree of liver fibrosis under the light microscope. Using multimedia picture instrument quantitative analysis of collgenous fibers were made. Analyse the relation between plasma TGF-Pj levels of chronic liver disease patients and liver fibrosis.4. Statistics methodT testing , analysis of line relationshipResultsPlasma TGF-j^ levels are elevated obviously in chronic liver disease patients than those in normal group(4. 8 ±2. 1) (p <0.01). TGF-Pilevels were increased with the progression of fibrosis(9. 1 ±2.7,11.8 ±2.9, 16. 1 ±4.9 , 21.2±6.0,27.0±6.8),(p<0.01).Plasma TGF-(3j levels differ significantly in different stages of patients (p < 0.01). TGF - ^! levels in various grade imflation of liver tissue are not significant difference. One is not relationship with the other. The levels of TGF-^in liver tissue has positive correlation with hepatic collagen.ConclusionPlasma TGF-|3ilevels increase in chronic liver disease patients, There are a closely relationship between the levels of TGF-^in plasma and liver fibrosis.
