Objective:To investigate t.he effect of controlled ovrian hyperstimulation on mouse endometrial leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) during the peri-implatation period, and discuss about the relation between the expression of the LIF and the concentration of estrogen and progesterone in controlled ovrian hyperstimulation and physiology pregenancy. All above are showed whether the uterine receptivity is effected by the controlled ovrian hyperstimulation. Methods:Mice were randomly divided into one treatment group and one control group. The level of LIF protein and LIF mRNA in mouse endometrial on pregnancy day 2, 4, 6, 8 and non-pregnancy were detected by streptoavidin peroxidase conjugated (SP) immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. In the meantime, the concentration of estrogen and progesterone in serum was measured .Results:In the control group, the expression of LIF mRNA and protein in non-pregnancy endometrial was very low.It increased during pregnancy and reached the peak on pregnancy day 4,and then decreased gradually. The changes in the COH groups is similar to the control group, but the peak of LIF mRNA and protein is on the pregnancy day 2.The level of LIF mRNAand protein on the pregnancy day 4 in the COH groups were significant lower than those of the control group . Conclutions:1.The expression of LIF mRNA and protein in COH group is lower than those of in the the control group during the peri-implatation period. The results suggest the peak of the expression of LIF mRNA and protein is ahead of the peri-implatation period.2.The expression of LIF mRNA and protein is related with the concentration of estrogen,no evidence is showed the relation between the expression of LIF mRNA and protein and the concentration of progesterone.
