Clinical Study On The Relationship Between TCM Syndromes And The Level Changes Of Serum SFas And Periphery Blood Lymphocyte Apoptosis Rate In Lupus Nephritis

Objective : 1.To study the clinical significance of the level changes of serum sFas and periphery blood lymphocyte (PBL ) apoptosis rate on the pathological mechanism of Lupus Nephritis (LN ) and the relationship of activity of degree ; 2 .To study the relationship between different indexes and Zheng differenttiation-classification of TCM ; 3 .To study the relationship between serum sFas and periphery blood lymphocyte (PBL) apoptosis rate in Lupus Nephritis.Method : The levels of serum sFas in 38 Lupus Nephritis patients and 20 heallthy controls were measured by two-layer antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); the levels of PBL apoptosis rate were assessed by a novel assay-Annexin v and propidiumiodide (PI) staining with flow cytometry (FCM).Results: 1. The levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate in Lupus Nephritis patients increased significantly compared with the control group p<0.01; compared with the stationary phase group , the levels of serum sFas in the active phase group increased significantly, p<0.01, the levels of PBL apoptosis rate in the active phase group increased significantly, p<0.05. 2. There was high correlation between the levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate in LN, r=0.752,P<0.01; 3. There was positively correlation between the levels of serum sFas and SLE disease activate index (AI) , r=0.897, P<0.01; 4 .There was positively correlation between the levels of PBLapoptosis rate and SLE disease activate index (AI) , r=0.703, P<0.01; 5.Compared with qi-yin asthenia group, the levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate in the toxic heat to flourishing group increased significantly, p<0.01.Conclusions: IThe heighten of levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis disorder possibly play important role in the pathogenesis of LN; 2 the levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate may serves as active indexes for SLE and LN.3 In Zheng differentiation-classification of TCM , the levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate in the toxic heat to flourishing group increased significantly that of qi-yin asthenia group, suggested that the difference in the the levels of serum sFas and PBL apoptosis rate might be one of interal factors whitch formed different TCM syndrome types of LN.
