Objective: Observe the changes of serum resistin in rats with fructose-induced insulin resistance; Observe the effects of rosiglitazone on insulin sensitivity, blood pressure, serum resistin of fructose-induced insulin resistance hypertension rats; Observe the relation of serum resistin with serum insulin, blood pressure in rats with fructose-induced insulin resistance. Methods: animal experiment. Results: The serum resistin level of the rats with insulin resistance was significantly higher than that of the normal rats. Serum resistin concentration is significantly correlated with serum insulin, but is not directly correlated with blood pressure in rats with fructose-induced insulin resistance. Rosiglitazone could improve insulin sensitivity, lower blood pressure and the serum resistin level of fructose-induced insulin resistance hypertensive rats. Conclusion: Serum resistin concentration is significantly correlated with serum insulin, but is not directly correlated with blood pressure. Rosiglitazone could improve insulin sensitivity in individuals with insulin resistance. At the same time it had effects such as lowering serum resistin level and blood pressure.
