The Clinical Research On Treating Depression With Head-Acupuncture And Stomatch-Acupunture

Objective: To observe the affect of both Head-acupuncture and stomach-acupuncture on Depression.Method: Divide 36 patients into two groups at random: One is contrast group which is made by Head-acupuncture.The other is test group with Jiuwei and Zhongwan based on Head-acupuncture.Then evaluate the two by HAMD and SDS before treatment,3 weeks and 6 week after treatment.Resule: After 3 and 6 weeks the marks of depression of the test group decline much clearly than these which before the treatment (P<0.01).The whole curative effect of the treat group is mach better than the contrast.The difference is remarkable between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion : To treat Dpression by using both Head-acupuncture and Stomach-acupuncture is superior than only Head-acupuncture.
