Effects Of The Formula Of Invigorating Qi, Warming Yang And Promoting Blood Circulation To Dissipate Blood Stasis On MMP-2 In Vascular After Angioplasty

Objective: Observing the effects of the compound prescription of replenish Qi, warming Yang and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis on MMP-2 of Rabbit Iliac Artery after Balloon Injury, to investigate the mechanism of vascular smooth muscel cell proliferation and its effect on RS after PTCA.Methods: The model of vascular restenosis established by balloon injury of rabbit carotid arteries was used. Rabbit were killed at 1, 2, 4 weeks after balloon denudation respectively. Utilizing the techniques, such as optical microscope, electron microscope, immunohistochemistry, were used to detect the change of the thickness of intima and media, luminal area and MMP-2 expression at different time.Results: Compared mode group with false operation group, vascular lumen was seriously narrow on 4th week after balloon injury; the area of neonatal intima and the intima proliferation index and MMP-2 in mode group were significantly higher than the treatment group.Conclusion: The compound prescription of replenishing Qi, warming Yang,activating blood circulation to.dissipate blood stasis restrain the proliferation of intima and the restenosis through decrease the content of mmp-2 in vessel stenosis.
