Objective: To make sure whether Ginsenoside is involved in 6-OHDA-induced apoptosis of pc12 cell in Parkinson's disease(PD) mouse model. And to investigate whether Ginsenoside (Rgl) has protective effect on this kind of cell death. Methods: pc12 cells were used and these cells were divided into three groups: A:control group;B:model group(processed by 6-OHDA);C:experimental group(treated with Ginsenoside Rg1 after processed by 6-OHDA). Flow cytometry was used to detect the percentage of cell apoptosis,Biochemical technique was used to detect the vitality of superoxide Dismutase(SOD) in each group, molecular biology technique was used to detect the mutation of mtDNA and observe the change of the above markers respectively。Results: In pc12 cells, Flow cytometry showed that there has been an appreciable increase in the percentage of cell apoptosis of model group by comparison with control group, and the percentage of cell apoptosis of experimental group were all quite close to control group. Biochemical technique showed that there has been...
