The Control Study Between Postoperative Dynamical PRL Level Of Prolactinomas And MRI

Object: Pituitary adenomas are common benign lessions of sellar region.The incidences of prolactinomas are higher than other types.The purpose of managing prolactinomas not only make the level of prolactin to normal level but also protect the function of normal pituitary.In addition,the goal of pituitary surgery is not to achive effective remoral of the offending lession and prohibit from recurring but to improve the sex life and regain the ability of pregnancy .Medicine treatments are given in the early stage after operation.We take measures to prevent the growth of remmant tumors ,lower the prolactin level and improve life quality .It is important to learn about whether the tumors are completely resected as soon as possible,so that the sequent theraputic measures can be taken. Methods: We retrospecting studied 32patients with prolactinoma undergoing pituitary adenoectomy in our department ,from 2003 to 2005,the prolectin levels of preoperation and postoperation are dynamically observed .The statistic analysis of the relationship between the postoperative prolactin level and manifestion of postoperative MRI among 18 of the 32 patients.
