Patella Arthroplasty Clinic Research In Total Knee Arthroplasty

Objective: to evaluate the clinic outcome of patella arthroplasty in total knee arthroplasty equitablly,ascertain its suitable diseases, and clarify patella arthrolasty theory and method.Methods: patients under arthroplasty or resurfacing of patella were selected from those treated with TKA in our hospital from May 1999 to January 2004, These patients were divided into two groups: patella arthroplasty group and patella resurfacing group and all were followed-up. The mean duration of follow-up is 28.1 months, the contents of followed-up include patients common information,X-ray measure (patellofemoral match of pre-operation or post-operation and the thickness of patella),ingredient reflecting the function of patella,knee joint score, Patella function score, petallofemoral complications, the outcome was analyzed by using the SAS system (significant difference P<0.05). meanwhile had the analysis and research to patella arthroplasty...
