Objective Detecting clara cell secretory protein (CCSP )in Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and Serum from Patients with asthma in active attack and in remission stage, To explore the role of CCSP in the airway inflammation of Asthma and endogenetic inflammation mechanism, Perfecting airway inflammation theory. Method CCSP of BALF and serum in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage and in 15 normal subjects was detected by ELISA method, At the same time FEV1 FVC MMEF were measured, The results of determination were analyed statistically. Results CCSP of BALF and serum in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack and in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage was much lower than that of BALF and serum in normal subjects(P<0.05), there was no markedly difference between CCSP in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack and in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage. FEV1 , FVC MMEF in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack was much lower than that in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage and in normal subjects(P<0.01), there was no markedly difference between FEV1 FVC MMEF in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage and in 15 normal subjects .Linear correlation analysis shows that: CCSP of BALF and serum in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack were positively correlated to the FEV1 separately( r = 0.798, P<0. 01; r=0.762,P<0.01 ), CCSP of BALF and serum in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage were positively correlated to the FEV1 separately( r=0.645, P<0.01;r=0.716,P<0.01), CCSP of BALF and serum in 15 normal subjects were positively correlated to the FEV1 separately (r=0.789, P<0.01; r=0.732, P<0.01), CCSP of serum was much lower than that of BALF in 15 Patients with asthma in active attack , And there were high positively correlated relation (r=0.875,P<0.01) . CCSP of serum was much lower than that of BALF in 15 Patients with asthma in remission stage , And there were high positively correlated relation (r=0.936, P<0.01). CCSP of serum was much lower than that of BALF in 15 normal subjects , And there were high positively correlated relation (r=0.825, P<0.01) Conclusion The result indicated that CCSP was involved in airway inflammation and played an important role in the pathogenesis of asthma., Level of CCSP can be used for judging state of an illness and therapy of asthma.. It have important meaning for perfecting airway inflammation theory and exploring new treatment method.
