OBJECTIVE:1, To measure the inhabitants perceived-health status and quality of life 2, To analyze the relevant factors about health and quality of life. 3, To test the effect of evaluating facilities about health status.METHOD:The research use the questionnaires offered by WHO to investigate and analyze some inhabitants perceived-health status and quality of life in parts of china. Use the Face to Face Interview and some other measurement facilities ,we inve- stigated 10000 people over 18 years old in Gansu,Henan and Shandong.Including:1. the people's population feature2. the people's health behavior feature3. the people's medical security and the feneral health feature4. the people's generalize health evaluation about himself5. the situation about chronic disease6. the people's quality of lifeThe data was inputed twice and had a logic collation.The statistical tool was SPSS 10.0.RESULTS:1. The perceived-health score was higher,x=91.18. the perceived-health score was associated with the objective health status, Many social factors have effects on the perceived-health score,and people in different socialclasses have inequality in their health.2. Chronic disease is an important reason to decrease the whole quality of life level.3. The score of quality of life is consistent with the perceived-health score and the result of Chronic disease status. They have differents in sex,age,income level and so on.CONCLUSION:Either the perceived-health or the quality of life evaluation has strongly relevent with the objective health stsus; As two different self-evaluating ways,both of them have a better reliability. Perceived-health is a valuable tool to measure health.
