Objective to observe the effect of acupuncture on learning memory and expression of synaptophysin in hippocampus and dentate gyrus of AD rats. Methods to divide forty-five rats into four groups randomly :normal group, model control group , model group , acupuncture group and make multifactorial AD rats through injecting D-gaK SCOP and feeding Alcl3, use step-down test to observe the change of learning memory ability , HE staining and electron microscope to observe change of histomorphology, immunohistochemistry to observe expression of synaptophysin in hippocampus and dentate gyrus.Results â‘ compared with model group the latency prolong and error times decrease in step-down test of acupuncture group;â‘¡ compared with model group, the expression of synaptophysin increase in hippocampus and dentate gyrus of acupuncture group .Conclusion â‘ multifactorial injury can make AD rats model successfully.â‘¡acupuncture can improve learning and memory of AD rats. â‘¢ acupuncture can improve the expression of synaptophysin in hippocampus and dentate gyrus of AD rats.
