Background: Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignancies that threaten the health of people. The incidence of gastric cancer is the third malignancy in China, and the pathogenesis has not been clear. Oxidative free radical (OFR) tumor suppressor gene p53 mutation oncogene ras activation and the relationship among them are hot study topics.Objectives: To observe the effect of OFR on P53 and P21ras protein expressions in human gastric cancer line MGC-803 and explore the role of OFR in gastric cancer etiology and pathogenesis.Methods: Human gastric cancer line MGC-803 was cultured and given H2O2 SOD and Mucosta in different concentrations to regulate the level of OFR in the MGC-803 cells.
