| Objective To explore the oropharynx measuring results on obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS), and the conduct significance of the results to select the operation. Observe the relationship between resever the palate and curative effect, compliation. To determine pathologicalposition and valuing postoperative effect. Methods Retrospective case review of 62 patients with OSAHS, The following indexes were measured before operation: distance between anterior pillars(DBAP), distance between posterior pillars(DBPP), distance between uvula and posterior pharyngeal wall(DBUP), length of hard palate midline , length of soft palate, width of soft palate, compared with the normal palatopharyngeal data. According to the apnea-hypopnea index(AHI), lowest oxygen saturation(LOS), and Muller's test, the patients were divided to three groups. (1) PPP group, reference standard is: AHI≤20, LOS>80%, width of soft palate≤1.0cm, length of hard palate midline<5.0cm, Muller's test in (+)++. (2) UPPP group, reference standard is: AHI in 20-40,LOS in 65%-80%, width of soft palate in 1.0-1.5cm, length of hard palate midline≤5.0cm, Muller's test in (+++)++++. (3) Hard palate shortening uppp(HPS-UPPP) group, reference standard is: AHI >40,LOS <70%, width of soft palate in 1.5-2.0cm, length of hard palate midline>5.0cm, Muller's test (++++).Before and after operation ,observe the results of oropharyneal, measuring the AHI, LOS, and the therapy effect. Results (1) Before operation, the DBAP,DBPP of three groups were significantly less than these of the normal data. (P<0.01=In the UPPP and HPS-UPPP groups the DBUP, length of hard palate midline , length of soft... |
