Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the corrosion behavior of Gold alloy,Titanium alloy,Ni-Cr alloy and Ti implant abutment in vitro. Method: The electrochemical corrosion behavior of above alloys was examined with potentiadynamic polarization technique ,Scanning electronic microscopic ( SEM ),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and X-ray diffractometer to measure and analyse the Ecorr,Ebd and Anodic polarization curves of the materials in artificial saliva at 37±0.5℃(Ph=6.0). Result: Corrosion potential of EcoNi-Cr,Ecoabutment ,EcoTi6Al4V and EcoAu-Pt were-193.4mV,-27.46mV,-14.7mV and 225.6 mV respectively; Transpassive potential of EbdNi-Cr,Ebdabutment,Ebd Ti6Al4V and EbdAu-Pt were0.80V,1.0V,1.0V,1.2V respectively. Ni-Cr alloy exhibited pitting and general corrosion, The others did not demonstrate distinct corrsive trace. From XPS , the content of Ni,O increased, and the content of Cr,Mo,Al decreased;but the other alloys did not present evident change. The main resultant of Ni-Cr ,Titanium alloy and Ti...
