Since the excellent characteristics in the mechanics, the dental alloy materials had been widely used in the clinic. However, given the oral cavity was so caustic that would separate out the metal ions and ramification in the alloy materials, if this kind of metallic ions didn't have the biocompatibility, it would directly destroy the organisms, such as the cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, damaging tissue, allergy, carcinogenesis, et al. Therefore, other than the excellent mechanical characteristics, the corrosion resistance should be treated as the important criteria about testing quality of dental alloys material as well. In the meantime, we noticed that filling alloys and prosthetic alloys often existed simultaneously in the oral cavity of so many patients. Unfortunately, there were merely few reports about corrosion of dental amalgam coupled to dental alloys in common use and the influences of the change in pH. For the more scientific and comprehensive result, it was necessary to research corrosion resistant of dental alloys and galvanic corrosion behavior of filling alloy coupled to prosthetic alloys in concrete medium. Thus, we should do experiment research about corrosion resistance of four dental alloys and galvanic...
