Objective:To explore the risk factors of stress ulcer(SU) after abdominal operations. To compare the curative effects of SU by using omeprazole, famotidine and cimetidine. Methods: The 120 cases of middle ,weight stress reaction after abdominal operations were investigated. The 12 project ruse factors of SU were selected and done Logistic analysis. The high risk group of SU after abdominal operations were determined. The 143 patients of high risk SU were randomly divided into three groups. The three groups were separately give cimetidine, famotidine and omeprazole. The effect of preventing SU were observed. Results: The high risk factors of SU abdominal operations are: ulcer onset before operation no more than one year, blood lost during operation more than 800ml,post operative acute inflammation syndrome or high blood sugar. The effect rate of omeprazole, famotidine and cimetidine are different on preventing SU after abdominal operations(X~2=8.73,P<0.025);By X~2 analysis ,the effect rate of omeprazole and famotidine (X~2=6.61,P<0.0125), cimetidine (X~2=8.22,P<0.00417)are different ,but the difference between famotidine and cimetidine are not evident (X~2=0.13,P>0.0125). Conclusions:Ulcer onset before operation no more than one year, blood lost during operation more than 800ml,post operative acute inflammation syndrome and high blood sugar are high risk factors after abdominal operations . The effect rate of omeprazole is higher than effect rate of famotidine and cimetidine. The effect rate of famotidine and cimetidine are not evident.
