Pancreatoduodenectomy is the largest operation in Department of general surgery,involving more organs,larger resection scope and more postoperative complications.And the operation itself is a kind of physical and psychological shock to the patient,and the stomach is the most sensitive organ under stress.When the patient has undergone surgical stress,the body instinctively makes a series of physiological,psychological,functional,structural stress reactions.This series of chain reactions should eventually lead to the hyperemia of the gastric mucosa.Erosion,ulcers,bleeding or perforation,which is what we call "stress ulcer(SU)".Pancreatoduodenectomy patients are more likely to have SU after operation because of their special etiology and anastomosis.Stress ulcer causes severe physical and psychological shock to the patient.If the treatment is not timely or unhandled,it will cause the vicious cycle of the body,causing the disease to develop to worse,and even cause the death of the patient.Here we do a brief introduction to the mechanism and prevention measures of stress ulcer after pancreatoduodenectomy,and we can make correct and reasonable treatment when we meet this disease again.
