| Objective: Compare to spray of yun nan bai yao, Evaluate the curative effect of acute injuries of ankle ligament which therapied by spray of Die da zhen tong liquid, then, analysis the trial result and provide scientific foundation for clinical drug of acute injuries of ankle ligament.Methods: From November 2004 to May 2005,80 patients were therapied in our hospital. They were randomly and equally devided into two groups. They were the treatment group (Die da zhen tong liquid group) and the control group(yun nan bai yao group). The usage of two group is wet compress on the local skin surface. Pre-treatment and post-treatment wore scored separately, and then, analysis the evaluation result.Results: 1. The excellent rate was 10% and the good rate was 75% after 3 days of treatment by the drug of treatment group; The cure rate was 20%, the excellent rate was 65% and the good rate was 100% after 6 days of treatment by the drug of treatment group; The cure rate was 65%, the excellent rate was 95% and the good rate was 100% after 9 days of treatment by the drug of treatment group. The excellent rate was 5% and the good rate was 70% after 3 days of treatment by the drug of control group; The cure rate was 15%, the excellent rate was 45% and the good rate was 100% after 6 days of treatment by the drug of control group; The cure rate was 55%, the excellent rate was 90% and the good rate was 100% after 9 days of treatment by the drug of control group. The cure rate, the excellent rate and the good rate of two groups on three time point did not show some significant difference by X~2 check comparison according to P>0. 05. 2. On the facet of analgesic effect, some significant differences were shown on the third day(P<0.01) and the sixth day(P<0. 05) after treatment when compared with the treatment, group and the control group. 3. Both groups did not show significant difference on the effect of vanishing swell, receding congestionand accelerating habilitation of ankle function.
