The Current Status And Countermeasures Of Their Education For Rural Reproductive Women's Reproduction And Contraception

To make a study on current status of reproduction and contraception of rural reproductive women in China; To learn about their needs for reproduction and contraception service; To make the right and effective countermeasures for improving rural reproductive women's reproduction and contraception knowledge; To offer the foundation for the decision-making and service of family planning; To make an investigation of random cluster sampling on rural reproductive women(N338) selected respectively four towns of two cites, Anlu and Jinzhou of Hubei province.This study adopts questionnaire investigation , reproduction and contraception knowledge education, informal calls and so on. The data are handled through statistics software SPSS 11.0. Conclusions: the status of rural reproductive women's reproduction and contraception was unsatisfactory; the work of planning family/reproductive health is facing a great challenge; the education of reproduction and contraception knowledge and reproductive health service are the important insurance for rural reproductive women's reproductive health. Specific countermeasures: improve the cultural level of rural young boys and girls, pay much attention to sexual education about rural middle and primary school students, especially girl students; improve the knowledge of reproductive women's reproduction and contraception to ensure the realization of informed choice; enhance the sense of the males' participating in family planning; standardize various management policies about family planning instruction stations to completely improve the quality of attendants; perfect and attach importance to the construction of the rural old-age insurance system, really relieve the fear of...
