Objective: To compare the cytokines TNF-α , IL-8, IFN- γ before and after the eradication of HP infection in patients with ITP.and to explore the relation of the three cytokine and the platelet count. Methods: We selected 40 patients of the ITP complicated HP infection, half of which(A1 group)are given HP eradication treatment, while the others(A2 group) aren't given.30 ITP patients of the HP negative are taken as B group.30 healthy peoples are taken as C group. The 14C urea breath test(14C-UBT) was utilized to diagnose of HP infection. Before and after the treatment,TNF-α, IL-8 , IFN-γ are measured by the ELISA method. The effect of the three cytokines to platelets is observed.Result :(1)Campared the TNF-α, IFN-γ and IL-8 of groups,A1 group showed TNF- α, IFN-γ significantly higher than the B and C group(p<0.05) .The thirty and the sixty day ,A1 and A2 groups also showed very significantly change(p<0.05) of the TNF-α, IFN- γ while the IL-8 of the patients don't have much change (p>0.05).(2) After the HP treatment ,the platelet count of ITP patients complicated HP infection rose significantly (p<0.05).(3)The platelet count and TNF-α, IFN- γ of the A1 group showed obvious negative correlation. Conclusion: Part of the ITP patients are related to the TNF-α, IFN-γ ,which are released after HP infection. So the HP treatment is an important addition to the ITP treatment.
