In order to searching more constituents and establishing integrated quality standard of Anemone altaica Fisch, the author carried out the following studies.Ingredients from Anemone altaica Fisch were isolated by classical chromatography. Four compounds from medicinal materials were identified by analysis these crystals' physical and chemical properties. Compound I from petrol-ether section is (3 -Sitosterol ; Compound II from chloroform section is Anemonin. Compound III & IV from EtoAc section are both organic acids. One is 5-hydroxy-4-oxo-pentonic acid, another is succinic acid. It is indicated by experiment of pharmacology that the organic acids of Anemone altaica Fisch is the mostly efficiency part.Further more, the quality standard of Anemone altaica Fisch was established according to the measure of new drugs that issued by SDA. Including qualitative analysis of 5-hydroxy-4-oxo-pentonic acid by TLC, content of it of Anemone altaica Fisch and delimiting the lower limit that is 0.4%.At last I investigated techniques of medicine preparation of Anemone altaica Fisch.
