Objective To explore the clinical features of the cardiac cancer, especially the advanced cardiac cancer for preoperational evaluation. Methods Four hundred and twenty seven operational case of cardiac cancer without preoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy were analyzed retrospectively using patients' data including age, sex, and clinical pathological types. Results The complete resection rate was lower when neoplasm's' diameter surpassed seven centimeter or x-ray findings showed extensive excess for fundus of stomach; or obvious invasion for lesser curvature of stomach or large mass and obvious of pectoralgia or abdominal pain, late and high malignant cardiac cancer. Conclusions It is deceive effect for preoperational evaluation for cardiac cancer which are depth of invasion, neoplasm's' diameter pain symptom, x-ray findings and pathological types.
