Study On The Development Of The Theory Of Zang-Xiang During The Past One Hundred Years

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),the development of the theory of Zang-Xiang always has close relation to social status quo and thoughts.It has come over six stages probably.The theory was gradually enriched and improved by doctors in different ages.It became the core of theoretical system of TCM.In the end of Qing Dynasty and Republic of China the society changed rapidly.Because of the introduction of Western medicine,the thoughts of interchanging between TCM and Western medicine emerged.It brought a new effect to the theory of Zang-Xiang and the practice of treatment.In the People's Republic of China it has gotten a grate achievement to study the theory of Zang-Xiang by using modern scientific knowledge and methods.The study has strided forward a new stage,developing in extensive and in-depth direction.This essay try to summarize the achievement on literature theory and study on essence of Zang-Fu as well as syndrome differentiation and clinical treatment during the past one hundred years to discover the regulation of the development of the theory of Zang-Xiang and to find out problems for the advanced study.
