Objective: To investigate the effects of sodium ozagrel in the treatment of Cor Pulmonale in exacerbation period.Methods: 72 cases patients with Cor Pulmonale in exacerbation periodwere at random divided into sodium ozagrel group (36cases) and control group (36cases). All the patients in two group were given the same routine treatment of anti-infection, expectorant, relieving spasm, antiasthma, balancing hydro-electrolytic disorder,low flow oxygen inhalation . In sodium ozagrel group , besides routine treatment , 80㎎sodium ozagrel solved in 250ml 0.9% sodium chloride solution was given by intravenous drop once daily .The course lasted 10 days . The level of plasma thromboxaneB2 (TXB2 ), 6-keto-PGF1α , prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen (Fbgg), antithrombin-Ⅲ activity(AT-Ⅲ:A), D-dimer (D2), blood PaO2 and PaCO2 were measured , the patientsˊsymptoms and signs were observed before and after the treatment . 20 cases healthy human subjects proceed comparison with ozagrel group and control group . Results:1. The levels of plasma TXB2, Fbgg , D-dimer and blood PaCO2 were significantly increased (P<0.01), and the levels of plasma 6-keto-PGF1α, PT, APTT, AT-Ⅲ:A and blood PaO2 were significantly decreased (P <0.01)in ozagrel group and control group in exacerbation period compared with healthy subjects, but in ozagrel group and control group showed no difference(P > 0.05).2. After the treatment, in ozagrel group the levels of plasma TXB2, Fbgg, D-dimer and blood PaCO2 were significantly decreased(P < 0.01), and the levels of plasma 6-keto-PGF1α, AT-Ⅲ:A and blood PaO2 were significantly increased (P < 0.01), and the symptoms and signs were markedly improved than those in control group , but the levels of plasma PT and APTT showed no difference(P > 0.05). 3. The levels of plasma TXB2, 6-keto-PGF1α, PT, APTT, Fbgg, AT-Ⅲ:A, D-dimer, blood PaO2 and PaCO2 showed no significant difference in the control group after the treatment(P > 0.05). 4. All indexs were significant difference between ozagrel group compared to control group after the treatment , and ozagrel group and control group comparison with healthy human subjects(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Sodium ozagrel could correct the hypercoagulable state of Cor Pulmonale in exacerbation period.Sodium ozagrel could improve the patientsˊsymptoms and signs , and blood gas paramrters with Cor Pulmonale in exacerbation period.
