Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) is common at clinic, which can cause pulmonary thromboembolism and the following complications such as deep venous disfunction and lower extermities varicositiesy. There has been increasing appreciation of the morbility of DVT.To study the effect of endothelial cell injury in DVT and relationship between them, circulating endothelial cell(CEC), endotheliotoxin-1 (ET-1), nitrous oxide ( NO), thromb-oxaneB2 (TXB2), 6-keto- prostaglandin F1α (6-keto-PGF1α ) and some correlative factors were measured in the patients with DVT. 74 patients were divided 3 groups according to the syndrome differentiation in TCM (damp-heat down-flow 30, blood stasis and damp heavy 26, defieciency of Yang of spleen and kidney 18) ,20 persons were observed as the control group respectively. The results showed that the number of CEC and the level of plasma ET-1,TXB2,T/P in patients were higher than normal, but the level of plasma 6-keto-PGF1α was higher than normal in early then lower. Patients attributed to the pathogenic damp-heat down-flow had a higher level on CEC,ET-l,TXB2,T/P when compared with the other groups.lt suggest that VEC injury play an important role in DVT.
