| Objetive: Along with gradual rising of the incidence of diabetes and Prolonging of life of suffers from diabetes, the pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes has become one of main curses resulting in death and deformity. There is no deference between the pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes DM and a general arteriosclerosis in pathology. At Present there are many theories, Which make exposition on the mechanism of disease of AS from various angles, including theories on fat infiltration, assembling of blood Platelets and Clone of cells of Smooth muscle, But the pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes, DM is early in happening, quite in progress and difference in Prognosis, and its mechanism of disease isn't known yet current1y .In the later 90's it was gradual1y found ECE and ICAM-l are c1osely related with the happening, development of the pathological changes of big b1ood vessels due to diabetes. At Present rough embedded Progress has been made in the study on Pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes, the re1ation between ECE, ICAM- 1level in serum of the suffers from Pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes and the above-mentioned isn't known yet. For the Purpose, we have tested the ECE level, activeness and ICAM-l level of the suffers of pathological changes of big blood vessels due to diabetes. DM, and at the same time the series target such as ET tumur encro-gend factor, NO so as to approach their important role in the happening and development and the relation between them, and offer scientific academic foundation for its early diagnosis and treatment.Methods: A method of comparison study in groups is adopted. 66 suffers with satisfactory standards are selected to group A, 40 men and 26 women, edged 52.13±7.53. They are inpatients in the Department of Internal Secretion of theCentral Hospital of Handan City between Feb.-Jun. 2003. All their diagnosis Standards are in accordance with the rules formulated by WHO for diabetes, DM (the blood sugar at empty stomach≥7.0 mmol/L, and the blood sugar in two hours after meal ) There is no kin between all the patients under the test. The patients haven't those acute and chronic infection diseases, such as diabetes I, ketosis of diabetes tumour and immunity diseases, with normal functions of liver and kidney .The patients of the pathologica1 changes of big blood vessels for the group should have one of the following conditions: (l) history suddenness of encephalon b1ood vessels, coronary heart disease, angina, myocardial infarction;(2) with remarkable bate or disappear of the pu1se of foot and back artery (3)ECG indicates ST-T lack blood changes; Doppler shows straitness of lower limbs. While patients Without the above-mentioned conditions belong to the group without pathological changes of big b1ood vessels. Of them, there are 36 cases with pathological changes of big blood vessels in group A, 22 men, 14women with contractive pressure of (135±15) mmHg, diastolic pressure of(82±11) mmHg, l8 men patients of coronary heart disease, 14 patients of encephalon infarction ,4 diabetes foot. There are 30 cases of simplicity diabetes DM in group (B), l8 men, l2 women. At the same time a healthy group (C) is set up for control, whose 30 healthy tasters are employees of our hospital, 11 men, 19 women, aged (45±8.15) with no family history of heart, encephalon, 1iver kidney and internal secretion diseases, diabetes, high b1ood pressure. The chroma of ECE, lCAM-1 in serum is menstruated by using the double antibody with filling ELlSA. The data are shown by average±standard difference (X±S). The two groups are handled according to statistics, with test adopting for compare and the single factor variance analysis is used to compare more than two groups, the relative analysis is adopted to make relative beeline analysis, with statistic meaning being p<0.05.
