Inquiry Into Research Strategy Of China Human Liver Proteome

With progressive achievement of human genomics project, human proteomics project has been one of major missions and focal points in life science research fields in 21st century. International human proteomics organization was founded in 2001, which purposes to develop the leading functions of China in this field. In 2002, the organization announced that international human liver proteomics project (HLPP) leaded by China, Canada and France was initiated. National ministry of science and technology is going to formulate a "China human liver proteomics project (CNHLPP) " , in order to fully ensure the initiation and implementation of this project and to promote China human proteomics research. Through investigation and research of references and consulting consultant, we gave a brief account of present conditions and developmental trends of proteomics, summarized present research conditions and problems of CNHLPP and put forward mission system and technique system of CNHLPP in this paper. Furthermore, advanced development fields and core techniques of CNHLPP research were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by soft sciences research tools, also proved by experts' scoring individually and deliberating synthetically. Finally, systematic and complete strategy and advice of CNHLPP were presented as well.In general, this study put forward foundations and references for scientifically formulating CNHLPP, meanwhile, provided much that can be made use of for organizing and carrying out the similar large-scale international collaboration.
