PrefaceAIDS ( Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) now has been one of the most serious global public health and social problems. In China, it spreads so quickly that it has been proliferated from high risk population to common population. Dislike other contagious disease, behavioral factor plays a decisive role in the occurrence of HIV ( Human Immune deficiency Virus ) infection. High risk behavior means many partners and inserting sexual intercourse without protection. Because male buggers more like insecure intercourse such as more partner and anus - intercourse, they are thought to be high risk population up to now.Homosexuality exists in different society and different time. There are approximate 18-24 million MSM(Men who have Sex with Men) with quite active sexual behavior in China, so there is high probability of AIDS spread during them. They must be paid much more attention in AIDS prevention and control. By intervention, homosexuality situation changed greatly in developed countries. The cases of being infected HIV by male buggers has been decreased sharply. The practice of worldwide proved that it is possible to prevent and control AIDS by effective intervention so as to change dangers behavior.Object and MethodWith combination of transecting investigation and tracing investigation, I selected male buggers in 5 bars in Shenyang as target people for questionnaire. I distributed 342 male buggers who had taken part in baseline investigation ran-domly to 5 groups with different intervention respectively. They are participated training group, educating group, being educated group, giving out materials group and comparison group. Two months later, I evaluated intervention effect with the same questionnaire. 277 qualified paper were received with 80. 99% eligible rate. After input and settled data, I compared different intervention ways by analyzing each guideline with statistical methods and got some results.ResultDuring 277 male buggers, the oldest one is 49 and the youngest one is 16, people who are younger than 25 are accounting for 57. 9%. They generally received good education, graduated from high school accounting for 43. 9% , junior college is 27. 5% , college or university and above is 10. 2%. 49. 1% of them admit that they themselves are buggers, 5. 6% think they are buggers with opposite sex, 45.3% think they are the both. 29. 2% are married, while 70. 8% are unmarried. 20. 8% are unmarried but cohabit. Among of them, 95.8% of them cohabit with male partners, 4. 2% with female. 51. 8% of the buggers acquire the knowledge of AIDS and STD ( Sexually Transmitted Disease) through TV and the newspaper, next is from internet. The people know little a-bout how to prevent AIDS, the average score of knowledge in baseline investigation group is only 58. 8. Among their first sex active partners, 56.4% of them are male, while 41. 5% are female. 36. 3% said they have female sex partner in recent half year, 43. 5% have 2-5 female sex partners, 11.3% have 6-10. All informant have male sex partners, 35.7% have 2 - 5, 17. 8% have 6 - 10, 48. 2% have regular partner, 51. 8% havent. 91. 5% have history of anus - intercourse in recent half year, and 11.1% of them used condom each time. After intervention, total average score about AIDS knowledge in each group rose with significant variation while comparison group didn't. After test, the effect of acquiring AIDS knowledge in participated training group and educating group are better than being educated group and giving out materials group, especially in such kind of questions, " Whether it is more likely to be infected HIV after infecting venereal diseases" , " Using condom correctly can preventAIDS" , etc.As for the question of " Using condom each time" , participated training group( x2 = 15. 75, P < 0. 05 ) , educating group (x2 = 16. 12, P < 0. 05) and being educated group (x2 = 12. 84, P <0. 05) have significant variation compared with comparison group. As for the question of " Using condom correctly" , participated training group...
