The Effect Of Ligustrazine On Hepatocyte Apoptosis

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Ligustrazine on hepatocyte apoptosis.METHODS:Adopt liver fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride in rats. Forty male Wistar rats were randomized into four groups: normal contrast group, model contrast group, Ligustrazine group (80mg/kg), Colchicine group (0.14mg/kg). Rats of different groups were given different drug by daily gastric feeding for six weeks. At the end of experiment, the following parameters were determinated: the liver function, the level of MDA,Hyp,GSH-PX, in situ TUNEL and immunohisto- chemical stain of TGF-β1.RESULTS:Ligustrazine could markedly decreased the levels of ALT,GGT,TBIL,DBIL,significantly prevented the increase of MDA ,Hyp and decrease of GSH-PX, reduced the expression of TGF-β1.The expression of hepatocyte apoptosis was significantly decreased(p<0.01).CONCLUSION:Ligustrazine could inhibited hepatocyte to apoptosis may be one of the anti-hepatic fibrosis mechanism.
