Meta-analysis Of Ventilator-associated Pneumonia

Objective: To understand the morbidity, mortality and pathogen spectrum of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP).Methods: UseMeta-analysis to Conclude clinical articles about YAP searching in Weipu and Wanfang.Result: 208 articles were identified, 10 articles were selected for Meta-analysis.Date could be extracted for mobidity analysis is 5 articles. 177 VAP were identified among 393 mechanical ventilation patients.the general incidence of VAP is 45.0%. Date could be extracted for motality analysis is 7 articles.72 deaths were observed in 218 VAP. the general fatal rate of VAP is 33.0%. Date could be extracted for pathogens analysis is 8 articles.315 stains were identified.239 stains (75.9%) were gram-negative rods and 46 stains (14.6%) were gram-positive cocci.30 stains (9.5%) were fungi.Conclusions:In China,The general incidence of VAP is 45.0%. the general fatal rate of VAP is 33.0%.The main pathogens of VAP is gram-negative rods.
